Crushturnal might look overwhelming, because dang, that’s a lot of knobs. But it’s actually pretty straight forward due to its clever color-coded layout. The grey section is a digital delay with a built-in bitcrusher. This feeds into the white section, which is an ambient shimmery pad reverb. Nostalgic delays + huge reverb is always a winning combo.
But at the heart of these two effects we find the orange section, the Clock control and the Clock sequencer, which can stretch, modulate and pitch sequence the delay and reverb into oblivion, and this is where Crushturnal really turns into something special.
