Power is probably the most overlooked and underappreciated part of a pedalboard, because why spend money on power when you can spend money on pedals, right? So why should you care about volts, amperage, output isolation and transformers?

Well, if you don’t feed your precious pedals with proper power, then they will simply not work and perform as intended. This can result in excessive noise, pedals losing functionality or that your entire rig shuts down, and that quickly becomes annoying when all you want to do is play and create. So please get a good PSU, instead of spending hours trying to figure out where that hum is coming from.
